Some Sex Workers In Kenya Might Carry Gene That Protects Them From HIV, Study Finds
Sex Workers in Nairobi kenya were some of the few tested for HIV in the year 2007. The results were a bit astonishing. After testing 850 Sex workers there were 187 Sex workers who had no HIV Traces. It is suspected that these 180 workers had Sex without protection for more than one instance and have the genes to protect themself from HIV. Some of these sex workers have had sex at least 30 times a day with Various members.
The genetics of these workers known as Keukocyte helps protect them from HIV and other viruses. This could probably be a great breakthrough to most people and the medical Industry too.
